Up for sale is a Seiko 7005-7080 time and date watch from the mid 70's (1974 going by the serial nr). The watch has been fully serviced and sympathetically cleaned, it has not seen a polishing wheel at all. The service included a new Seiko crystal, new gaskets fore the crown and caseback and a new screw to the ratchet wheel.
BRACELET - I have no way of knowing for certain but the seller tells me he owned the watch with the bracelet from new.
CASE - bevels are sharp, scratches as one would expect from a non-polished watch. There is also a small ding to the non crown side of the case but it's hardly noticeable when the watch is on the wrist.
DIAL/HANDS - Both are in excellent condition. I would say the dial is pretty flawless. People have commented on how good the blue dial looks. It's a very vibrant blue which plays amazingly with the light and depending on the angle at which you have the watch.
CROWN - Believed to be original. Ratchet screw replaced at recent service, as mentioned.
BRACELET - Seiko signed three link, believed to be original. Scratches as one would expect.
MOVEMENT - Automatic movement, recently serviced.
BOX & PAPERS: none.
